Today
Systems architect and platform lead for a K-12 literacy ecosystem used by 300+ school districts across the U.S., with more than 200,000 daily active users. I lead a platform team of about 20 engineers, with full autonomy and end-to-end ownership of the product.
AI adoption
I led our company-wide AI adoption: governance, PII safeguards in the AI gateway, MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools, LLM-based capabilities, and deployment pipelines for AI agents.
Before that
I helped scale two $1B+ startups in Mexico, Kavak and Clip, through hypergrowth, from migrating monoliths to microservices to building internal libraries that engineering teams used every day.
